IHF supports technology and science-led innovations by de-risking their development with a particular focus on enabling design, pilot scale production, clinical and community validation, regulatory approvals, and enabling their adoption and further scale-up.
Criteria for selecting Innovations
- The solution must have completed the proof-of-concept stage and pre-clinical validation.
- Should be superior to the currently available solutions or approaches in terms of sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, safety, turnaround time, usability in peripheral settings, unit pricing, etc.
- Have the potential for scale-up across diverse settings.
- Preferably multi-disease applicability.
Support Areas for Innovators
- Milestone based funding for product design, pilot scale production, clinical validation, clinical investigation, beta prototyping, clinical trials, feasibility studies, confirmatory testing and pilot introduction.
- Eco-system & Network Access with Indian and global stakeholders.
- Mentoring support by our expert panel on regulatory requirements and go to market strategies.
