Green nano / micro technology-based formulation(s) for directly targeting MDR TB bacteria in the lungs.

Aerosol formulation(s) will be employed to kill numbers of viable TB bacteria directly in the lungs. The technology may be useful alone and / or in conjunction with first / second line antibiotics for TB. The approach will overcome resistance and reduce side effects associated with current therapy. Finally, this may be helpful in treating MDR cases.
Identification of anti TB compounds (natural) and their characterisation
In vitro characterisation of developed formulations in H37rv and MDR TB strain
